Former semiconductor manufacturer CFO Gary Palacios felt the desire to do more. His family background of working with homes— his father was a general contractor—combined with a background in finance, made working as a real estate agent to help people get to their dreams an ideal choice.
During Gary’s first full year of real estate, 2004, he sold 49 homes, while still working full time as a CFO in the high-tech industry. 
During the crash of 2007 and 2008, he decided to go all in. Gary quit his finance job and entered real estate full time. He specialized in short sales to help people in bad situations keep their homes or exit safely and securely.
Along with real estate, in 2012 the Palacios founded the “I Love Morgan Hill” Foundation, which touches many lives through a monthly food distribution and annual Christmas gift drive. 
The business has grown into The Palacios Group, with an emphasis on recruiting agents and building their potential by sharing knowledge and philosophy. The team now includes 15 agents and a full time office administrator to provide extensive service to clients as they buy and sell homes.
